We did it! The week I’ve dreaded for quite some time has concluded.  Brian put all my angst in check as he successfully completed week 1 of High School! The killer 7am departure (my biggest concern) #nailedit. So many of you messaged me this week to check on him so I felt the need to share good news….hey, I’ll take any win I can get! Thank you so much for your support and concern it means so much to me. Thank you also to my friends for giving me some insight into Brian’s social experience via your kids! I do feel like Brian has a lot of people in his corner and was more ready than I thought to make this transition. Maybe it was me who wasn’t ready?  Probably…..but whatever.

Also, more good news! Thanks to you and my LTL Facebook following I’ve surpassed my goal and reached over 1,100 followers this week. Thank you for reading and sharing my blog my friends!  I’m reaching people, sharing experiences, learning from others and making new friends! I’m so grateful for the ever-growing community of support I’ve discovered through my writing process.   Now on to 2,000!

Its been a #lunderful week!

Of course I realize we have 35 more weeks of school to go and have lots and lots to work on but I’m really trying to live in the moment and celebrate everything and anything positive that comes our way.  I’m incapable of not worrying but in the spirit of Brian’s T-shirt ….Hakuna Matata.
